Hearpiece

The Hearpiece is an electroacoustic earpiece for research and development of assistive listening systems and hearables. It includes two earpieces and four microphones on each side, built into a universal fit. The Hearpiece fits approximately 90% of all ears and fits comparably to a custom earmold. In a vent, both drivers and a microphone are positioned at separate locations inside the ear canal, opening up many signal processing possibilities. The Hearpiece is available in a vented or closed version, as well as with or without integrated microphone preamplifier.

These earpieces were developed in cooperation with the University of Oldenburg and InEar GmbH, Dieburg.
