About the project
Funding period 1: Hearing4all 1.0
From models, technologies and solutions for diagnosing, restoring and supporting hearing
In the first funding period of Hearing4all, it was possible to combine three traditionally separate areas of diagnosis, hearing aids and assistive technology in hearing support in a highly interdisciplinary, goal-oriented research unit. However, the problems caused by hearing impairment in our ageing society have not yet been solved.
Funding period 2: Hearing4all 2.0
Medicine, basic research and technical solutions for personalized hearing care
As an extension of Hearing4all 1.0, Hearing4all 2.0 aimed to leverage the extensive expertise and scientific collaboration between disciplines, university sites, research areas (e.g. university, clinic, industry) and research areas in basic, applied and clinical sciences.
Funding period 3: Hearing4all.connects
The interdisciplinary research network will enter its third funding phase in 2026!
