ADAPTIVE AUDITORY SPEECH TEST (AAST)
Playful determination of the speech intelligibility threshold
The AAST is a playful procedure that fits into the living environment of children and was developed by Prof. Frans Coninx. The automatic adaptive test enables an estimation of the speech recognition threshold (SRT) in children of kindergarten and preschool age within a very short time. Besides German, the test is available in eleven other languages and is very helpful for measurements of patients with migration background.
