Friends of the House of Hearing e.V

With the House of Hearing a vision has become reality: A European center of hearing research that combines basic research with the development and fitting of hearing aids, a center of joint action by all for the benefit of hearing-impaired people. In order to let the special spirit of cooperation between the institutions of the House of Hearing shine outwardly, those involved and partners of the House founded a non-profit "Förderverein Haus des Hörens e.V." in 2004, whose specific tasks would include the following:

• Promoting and organizing cultural events in the House of Hearing (e.g., concert evenings in the communication acoustics simulator)
• Promotion of public relations work and the integration of the House in the region
• as well as the realization of appropriate information events for the interested public
• Supporting the institutions located in the House of Hearing when purchasing scientific and artistic working materials
• Awarding scholarships to students of the educational institutions represented in the House of Hearing
• Promoting communication between active and former members of the institutions in the House of Hearing as well as with friends and partners
• Operation and expansion of the hearing garden at the House of Hearing
