OLKISA
OLDENBURG SENTENCE TEST FOR CHILDREN
The Oldenburg Sentence Test for Children (OLKISA) is an audiometric test to determine the speech recognition threshold in quiet or in noise for CI users, children from the age of four, and people with a reduced word span. Simplified sentences of the Oldenburg Sentence Test are used as speech material. The OLKISA thus belongs to the family of simplified matrix tests. The sentences have the form number word - adjective - noun with a random combination from an inventory of a total of 21 words (e.g. "Three green shoes"). The design of the test prevents memorization of the sentences, so OLKISA can be repeated as many times as needed. For this reason, it is particularly well suited for recurring measurements during the fitting of hearing aids or the adjustment of cochlear implants.
